Convergence

Convergence -- a narrowing of possibilities -- a process of eliminating -- based on

  • constraints of GOAL
  • need for SPECIFICITY so the design is buildable
  • it must "stand up" - "work" - exist and perform the task assigned it
  • the requirement for a LEARNING PROCESS whereby participants and the design approach a final form
