conversation frame

brief outline

  • society requires the coordination of human action
  • coordination is achieved through conversation
  • all learning takes place in conversation
  • school was intended for learning but is overly constrained
  • today we can design better conversations for learning
  • network conversations achieve new contexts and types of learning
  • we may choose what we choose to design, that is, we may engage in metadesign.
