In Intraspect, the term meta data refers to the information associated with an object, such as title, type, author, date and time it was created or modified. Meta data also includes important details such as the folder(s) the object is contained in, the containing folder's name and description, the attached comments, and the discussions. Meta data provides a rich context for searching within the group memory. When a document is created, its meta data is saved automatically in the object database, which allows you to search on all document details. If you modify or delete the document meta data, those changes are also automatically saved for future use. | ||
