Intraspect handles a variety of object types, including what are called binary documents. These are documents created by an application, such as MS WORD, PowerPoint or EXCEL, that writes out document files in its own particular format. These are not in text or HTML (Web) format; rather, they are in a special coded format and appear in the file as bits (binary) unless they are read by the creating application or a compatible viewer. Binary documents are selected for viewing in the same way as every other object in Intraspect: by double-clicking on the object or by choosing the To view or download hyperlink in the View Pane. Intraspect automatically launches a viewer for the binary document's specific format. | ||
